A young French publishing house of objects and furniture, Elementals launch its first collection—Trunnion—the prominent gallery Artisan Social Designer (68, rue des Gravilliers – Paris III), from 8th to 16th September in part of the Paris Design Week.
Co-founder of the project company, Berthezène & Irene Marie Smaniotto, designer Jean Couvreur also wrote several pieces in this collection, which explores the sensitivity and poetry journal. This cylindrical piece of wood has different diameters of own existence once assembled.
The side table, Linette, is composed of two superposed disks beech, mechanically blocked (no glue or screws) by the three pins which are angled feet. As for the trivet, Pantin, reveals a nice feature thanks to its elastic lace fastening which snaps into a precious engraved copper sleeve.
Alongside creations by Jean Couvreur will also be presented the shelf Gummitwist promising designer, Nino Gülker, and his clever assembly elastic silicone.
