Trained ENSAAMA then in England, designer, Florent Coirier, now divides his work between the Christophe Pillet agency and personal projects. He recently made the buzz with his surprising chair, the PortiqueArmchair, inspired by his childhood memories, including garden swings and gantry loading of goods from the port of Nantes, his hometown.
His recent events was also marked by the publication of his lamp in kusamono Cinna or by the co-edition of his chair for children with HippaHippa Editorial.
He returns today with Polka, a lamp with minimalist lines which is walking a tightrope. A façade for printing Polka actually provides a wide range of movements and positions.
Made of beech turned Polka edition is now free. It is available at €350.
